Friendly, but unfortunately 2 days before Corona2 only small card. Still tasty and good. But absolutely understandable. Because who knows how long it will take. We'll be back for sure. TOP.

To this day, I don't know the inn from the inside, only the jetty, where we have been guests several times over the night. The location in the back of the canal in the middle of the green is wonderful. The owner Hendrik is always helpful and lives with his family in the main house. As a result, in the worst case scenario, a problem with showers, keys or power connections can be solved even after work. People who are very sensitive to noise should know that every now and then a regional train rattles over the rustic railway bridge in the immediate vicinity. That didn't bother me myself, especially since no trains seem to run at night. And a note for boaters: there is an unexpectedly high current in the canal arm due to the passing ships. Occasionally a real wave rushes in. So moor the boats well and properly deploy fenders!

Home cooking. Very, very tasty. Endless choice. Too little choice for vegetarians.

We are always happy to be with Maren and Hendrik. Very nice staff and very good food. I can only recommend it.

As a motorhome guest, we received a friendly welcome and took part in the rich, very tasty evening buffet (always on the first Saturday of the month) with a good selection of drinks.

We were eating buffet in this nice inn. The food was an incredible amount, huge selection, whether fish, meat, vegetables and so on. The selection of delicious dishes is simply incredible. All the things I tried were really, really delicious, everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly, drinks orders were carried out very quickly. There is enough parking space in front of the door. All in all it was a nice evening, I can honestly recommend this inn.

Very friendly campsite, good English spoken. 10€ for the night including electricity, tokens for the shower. Idealic walk along the canal.

Food was decent but customer service was... a bit odd. Seemed to me the waitress was trying everything to get us to leave before we ordered anything and that just ruined it for me.

We stayed on the motorhome pitch for one night. We stood right on the water. The road is certainly a bit close, but there is relatively little traffic here, actually at 30 km / h. The sanitary facilities are old but clean. Perhaps the missing shower walls will also be replaced in the men's area. It didn't bother me. The food there was outstanding. Good portions and very, very tasty. The quality and the price are right here.

I confess three things: 1. I do not strive for objectivity, because for this purpose too many memories of my childhood in this wonderful landscape were reawakened here on the pleasantly quiet caravan site of the Gasthof Peters directly on the Dortmund-Ems Canal. (The regional rail over the canal bridge still causes this tack-tack, tack-tack of the steel wheels and only gradually becomes a part of my nocturnal dream ...) 2. Understand that an inn in this area can not offer "kitchen around the clock" every day. Would still like to have enjoyed on a Tuesday the praised by many people buffet, too bad ... 3. The absolute hammer: A bath in the clean water of the channel at an air temperature of 30 ° C! Where is this without endangering, for example otherwise possible by shipping? (Let alone alone without hundreds of other bathers on dredging lakes or in outdoor pools) Oh yes, my overnight stay here will of course not be the last ... Thanks Horst!

Have happened on a bike ride here by accident. Super nice beer garden, delicious food, friendly service. Heart, what do you want more? We felt very comfortable.
